We’ve all
heard stories of dolphins saving people. Here is a great adventure where
humans reciprocate this intelligent mammal . On 11 January 2013, a team
of divers is filming rays off Hawaii when a bottlenose dolphin came up
to them and took a clear stand: he asked for help. The poor creature was
tangled in a fishing line, stopping to swim correctly and had a hook
stuck in the body. The dolphin positioned himself nicely so that Keller
Laros, the plunger may cut the line. He went back a few moments to the
surface to breathe and then came back to the end of the “surgery”.A
beautiful moment of communication with our friends the dolphins.
Microsoft Launches Office 365 Home Premium Subscriptions for Consumers
Microsoft is betting that consumers will pay
$10 a month for the new cloud-friendly version of Office. If brisk
business adoption is any indication, Microsoft has reason to hope.
"Home Premium" editions didn't die with Windows 7. Microsoft today revived the consumer-grade appellation by launching Office 365 Home Premium, the personal edition of its cloud-enabled productivity suite.
An Office 365 Home Premium subscription grants users access to the complete Office application suite across five Windows PCs (Windows 7 and higher) and Macs (OS X 10.5.8 or higher). Skype and 27GB of SkyDrive storage (7GB free, 20GB additional) are bundled into the package. Microsoft's software-as-a-service (SaaS) productivity offering is price at $99.99 per year or $9.99 on a per-month basis.
Office 365 Home Premium includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access. The software's cloud-aware capabilities allow for roaming profile settings and file sync and sharing functionality via SkyDrive. With Office on Demand, subscribers can stream full versions of Office applications to PCs that don't have Office installed.
In addition, free Office WebApps sync with your SkyDrive account, so you can access, view, edit and share your documents, photos and other files from any Internet-connected device running a supported browser.
Sticking to tradition, the company also floated a lower-cost version for students called Office 365 University. Aimed at college students and faculty, it costs $79.99 for a four-year subscription.
The Office brand is undergoing a transformation as Microsoft continues to transition from a provider of mainly on-premise and desktop software to a cloud service provider.
"Transforming from a software maker to a devices and services company requires us to make big, bold bets and push our business in new directions, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer wrote in a blog post. "We are incredibly well and uniquely positioned to delight our customers with stunning new Windows PCs, tablets and phones that light up with world-class entertainment, communications and productivity services," Ballmer wrote.
The company is betting that like a growing number of businesses, consumers will warm to the SaaS version for one of its most popular and enduring application suites. Ballmer has reason to be hopeful. Office 365 has gained significant traction among business users, according to the chief executive.
He revealed that "since we launched Office 365 for businesses only 18 months ago, one in five of our enterprise customers now has the service, up from one in seven a year ago. Smaller businesses are also choosing Office 365 at a rapid pace, with a 150 percent increase in the number of small and medium-size businesses using the service over the past 12 months."
To achieve the same momentum among consumers, Microsoft is hoping to reset the concept of release schedules.
"Microsoft also announced it will now deliver many new features and services to the cloud first, transforming the company's traditional three-year release cycle," blogged Ballmer. "Now, new features and services stream to subscribers as soon as they are ready, keeping subscribers always up to date while eliminating the hassles of upgrading."

Zemana AntiLogger protect your Pc Screen - Keys - SSL - WebCam - Clipboard...
The average person doesn't realize that connecting their computer to the internet puts them in direct harm's way. Without the help of some kind of keylogger remover, they are at risk for physical, financial and other personal dangers. Most will laugh to see the term "physical" used to describe an internet threat. Internet connectivity is an electronic medium. Short of spilling their drink on the PC, most assume no physical harm can come from surfing the web, chat rooms or online shopping.
Keylogger applications capture a user's sensitive information. User accounts and banking information have the most appeal to the cyber-criminal. However, some want more than the contents of a bank account. Keyloggers can discover your address, telephone number and more. Logging of keystrokes is usually only one feature of this type of surveillance software. Some keyloggers have the ability to record VoIP (Voice over Internet) telephone calls, take pictures of the computer screen and even control the Webcam.
Zemana AntiLogger is equipped with a set of well-developed security features that protect the user from internet threats. Features such as the world's first 128-bit SSL Logger protection and Anti-Webcam Logger propelled Zemana AntiLogger to its first place position. Third and second placed products may offer similar protective elements. However, the technology behind Zemana AntiLogger is robust, innovative, reliable and more comprehensive than its competition.
Zemana AntiLogger is not a replacement for antivirus and antispyware security software. Instead, Zemana AntiLogger works in conjunction with these types of software. Traditional antivirus and antispyware security products do not keep pace with the rapid rate that hackers develop new forms of malware in the wild.
Traditional security products rely on a signature database to identify and stop malware attacks. Days, or weeks, can pass before a user updates the signature database and performs a scan. Zemana AntiLogger fills the gap by adding an extra level of security. Zemana AntiLogger proactively protects and secures the computer until traditional products identify and remove the malicious software.
Zemana AntiLogger's powerful protection does not slow the computer or drain vital system resources and processes. Testing demonstrates that Zemana AntiLogger is compatible with common security products such as AVG, BitDefender, Kaspersky, Ad-Aware, McAfee, Norton Antivirus and Norman Antivirus.
Here are some key features of "Zemana AntiLogger":
System Defence Module that protects your system.
Anti-Screen Logger that provides protection against Screen Logger.
Anti-Key Logger Module that provides protection against Key Logger.
Anti-SSL Logger Module that provides protection against SSL Logger .
Anti-WebCam Logger that provides protection against WebCam Logger.
Anti-Clipboard Logger that provides protection against ClipBoard Logger.

Evernote Hacked, Passwords and User Data Stolen
Evernote, the
well-known note-sharing service, is the latest prey to the spree of
hacking attacks that have hit number of web firms online, including the
likes of Apple, Facebook and Twitter. Evernote announced yesterday that
securely stored data on their servers was compromised following a
co-ordinated web attack, which was a sophisticated attempt to break
their security barriers, in order to avail the encrypted information.
Though, the security team was able to prevent the attack, the damage had already been done.Hackers managed to gain quintessential user information like username, email and encrypted passwords.
Evernote says that it has no evidence to pin-point what the hackers stole from their database. There’s no way to find out if they just gained access to user data or tried to modify/delete some of the data.
However, the official blog states that the hackers were able to gain the login information of customers like email ids, usernames and passwords. So, Evernote has forced its 50 million users to reset their passwords. In case you’re using Evernote and you haven’t changed your password, we would suggest that you reset your password, as early as possible.
According to Evernote’s official blog, the financial information of Evernote Premium and Evernote Business customers has not been compromised.
Though, a company representative told CNET that there’s a definite pattern in the recent web-attack that matches with other high-profile attacks on web companies in recent weeks, he also said that they are still looking into it, and nothing concrete can be said at the moment.
Right now, Evernote has asked all its users to reset their passwords. They have notified their users using social media, emails, and the issue has also been highlighted on their official blog. As Evernote does not know how much data the hackers managed to steal, they have no option other than to salvage the accounts of their 50 million users. It might sound like damage control, but that’s the best thing to do right now.

Smart stickers for your smart phones
With smart sticker tracking technology you never have to moan the loss of any article ever again!
stick2The technology is simply brilliant and brilliantly simple. Paste smart stickers on items that constantly elude your touch and track them with your Smartphone. Stick-N-Find Technologies has found a fool proof, easy and affordable method to track your most troublesome articles. The concept works on radio signals that help track an item the sticker is pasted on. The company uses what is called Bluetooth Low Energy which reduces battery power to a large extent when a signal needs to be broadcast. The small disc that adheres to the surface of traceable items is powered by a button cell, the kind used in watches and lasts for up to two years without recharge.
Wonderful new technology much applauded by those constantly losing household items, the sticker-tracker technology has a flip side. First, it is quite expensive, given that just 2 stickers cost $50. This is not immediately affordable to all consumers. Second, very few phones like the iPhones and high end Samsung phones can pick up on Bluetooth Low Energy radio signals. This means, in addition to the already expensive stickers, a top end phone model is required which makes it even more expensive for a consumer. And lastly, the concept works more on the “you’re getting warmer” and “you’re cold” system rather than giving the seeker the exact directions to the lost item.
Stick-N-Find is working on issuing better directions to consumers so that they do not have to walk around in circles looking for an object. All future phones, including mid range phones will be incorporating Bluetooth Low Energy which should be a relief to buyers.
It is no doubt a fantastic new technology making its way into 2013.

iFixit releases tablet repairability list, puts Apple and Microsoft on the bottom
Not only has iFixit
long been the go-to source for gadget teardowns, it's often seen as an
authority on just how repairable a device is post-purchase. So when the
outfit released its "Tablet Repairability" list recently, we took
notice. The Dell XPS 10 took top marks (9 out of 10) for its color-coded
screws and labeled cables, while Apple and Microsoft slumped to the
bottom. Every iPad from the second
generation onward scored a 2, and the Surface Pro has the unenviable
position as the worst of the lot with a score of 1. Excessive adhesive
is the culprit behind the low scores, as is the high probability of part
breakage upon disassembly. Not every tablet on the market made it on
the list, but it's a decent start as iFixit finds more slates to tear
down. Head on over to the source to see if your favorite tablet is
easily fixable or if you need to look into rugged cases and extended
warranties.

Diamond Color and How Diamonds are Graded
What exactly is diamond color? While most people think of the classic,
transparent diamond, which happens to be the most rare and valuable, the colors
of diamonds actually range from transparent all the way to a brownish
color. There are different saturations
of diamond color, and tones.
The Gemological Institute of America, known as the GIA for short, is the most commonly used system for evaluating diamond color. They've created something known as the “GIA Color Grade Scale”, and it has placed a grading system on the many different colors and shades of diamonds, classifying into 22 letter grades.
